Continuing our season-long profile of the tattoos that our players have, and the stories behind them, this week we turn to forward Troy Brady. Brady came to the Otters after completing his sophomore season at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where he scored nine goals and two assists and was named to the MAAC First Team.
Brady got his tattoo last summer and it is the date of his niece’s birthday. His reasoning was the importance that his niece played in both his and his family’s lives. He said that she helped bring his family closer together.
He plans to also get the birthdates of his sister and mother tattooed in the same spot. He chose to place the dates over his heart because “no matter what they will always be in my heart.”
He also plans to get the quote “Family Over Everything” tattooed on the inside of his wrist. It is in honor of all that his mother and sister have done for him his whole life.
Next week we will profile midfielder Jeremy De Hoog! Be sure to follow us on social media for other exciting content and updates about the team throughout the season! #FearTheFur
