#TattooTuesday: Raphael Campos

Tattoos are something that people get for a variety of reasons. Some are to remember, honor, motivate, pay tribute to, or some are just for fun! This season we will be highlighting the tattoos that our players have chosen to get and the significance that they have to them.

The first player that will be profiled is forward Raphael Campos. The Brazilian forward just completed his sophomore season at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. He scored two goals in limited action.

Campos’ first tattoo depicts a compass rose. However, the directional letters have been replaced with the initials for his mother (Marcia), father (Wilson), brother (Caio), and sister (Luiza).

He got the tattoo almost a year ago and said it was something he always wanted to get.

Campos’ other tattoo is also a tribute to his family. He said that while it looks like three X’s, it is actually an intersecting M and W for his parents Marcia and Wilson.

Raphael says that in the future he would like to get a tattoo related to the ocean. He says that he has always loved the ocean and scuba diving.

Stay tuned throughout the season as we profile more players’ tattoos! Next week we will profile Troy Brady. Follow us on social media for other player-related content, as well as news surrounding the team and upcoming events!
