Otters Introduce Richard Wall as Assistant Coach

The Tri-Cities Otters are excited to announce the addition of Richard Wall as assistant coach. Wall comes to the Otters after two years with fellow PDL team, the West Virginia Chaos. With the Chaos, Wall served as the head coach and the assistant general manager and in 2015 helped lead them to the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

As a player, Wall played one year at Wingate University and three years at Gardner-Webb University. In his three years with the Runnin’ Bulldogs, Wall made 55 appearances and recorded five goals and six assists.

Once his college career ended, Wall has held numerous positions for a variety of clubs at all levels. With Gardner-Webb he was the director of soccer operations and was also a training programs coach for the New York Red Bulls. Wall has also been an assistant coach at Belmont Abbey College and Brevard College.

Currently, Wall serves as the head men’s soccer coach for the Lees-McRae Bobcats in Banner Elk, North Carolina. In two years with the Bobcats, Wall has produced six all-conference selections as well as leading them to a winning conference record.
