Another year, another division for Tri-Cities FC. For the third straight season, the Otters find themselves in the middle of a division shakeup. After two years in various iterations of the South Atlantic division in the Eastern Conference, the Otters will now call a new division and conference home.
Starting in the 2018 season the Otters will move to the Southern Conference to compete in the Deep South Division. Joining the Otters will be some familiar foes, as well as some new faces.
Coming to the Deep South from the South Atlantic will be the SC United Bantams, Peachtree City MOBA, and Tormenta FC. The latter will play one more season in the PDL before they move up to the USL’s newly launched D3 league as a founding member.
The rest of the division consists of playoff regulars Mississippi Brilla and two expansion sides based in Birmingham and Memphis.
The Southern Conference is made up of two other divisions featuring teams from Texas and Florida. Each division winner and one at-large team will advance to the PDL playoffs in July.
Season tickets will be available soon and the Otters 2018 schedule will be released in the coming weeks! Be sure to follow Tri-Cities FC on social media to stay up to date on all things Otters as they move towards the 2018 season!
