Otters Announce First Events for 2019

As the Otters head into the new year, the first group of events planned for 2019 have been announced! The Otters already have several exciting opportunities this year, including the Otters Youth Camp during the 2019 season.

First, on February 3rd, the Otters will hold another clinic for strikers and goalkeepers at Science Hill High School from 1-3 PM. The clinic is open to all boys and girls aged 14-18 and will feature instruction from Coach David Strickland and Tom LaGuardia. Strikers will focus on finishing, while goalkeepers will work on positioning and shot stopping. The following weekend (February 9th), the Otters will host a 5-v-5 tournament for high school boys aged 14-18 in the area.  The cost is $150 and teams will receive game t-shirts and will play a minimum of four games. Teams are limited to seven players. College coaches will be in attendance to evaluate players! Please contact David Strickland to register.

On February 23rd, the Otters only open tryouts for the 2019 season will be held at 9:00 AM at Science Hill High School. Tryouts are open to all college or high-level high school players. The cost is $50 and you can register by contacting head coach David Strickland.

Finally the Otters annual youth camp will be held June 10th-14th during the Otters initial home stand of the season. There will be two age groups: a group for 6-9 year olds that will go from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and a 10-18 age group that will go from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a lunch break. Attendees will work with the Otters coaches and players to develop their skills on the field! Further information about how to register will be released closer to the camp!
